NHS testing sites in your area
• Flood Street car park (off Oakeywell Street) Dudley
• Jackson Street car park, Lye
The new test sites will bring free and accessible local testing, which is essential to the NHS Test and Trace service and our fight against coronavirus (COVID-19).
Testing is vital to stop the spread of coronavirus in local communities and to support the lifting of restrictions. This will help people see more of their friends and family and support businesses to get back on their feet.
We hope these local test sites will make it easier for people across Dudley borough to access testing. We have worked with clinical advisors and the Department of Health and Social Care to ensure the sites are safe and secure for both people visiting and local residents.
The locations have been selected based on their suitability for safely testing as many people as possible.
The sites, which complement the regional testing network, will be open seven days a week from 8am to 8pm, appointments must be made in advance by calling 119 or visiting www.nhs.uk/coronavirus. The test sites are easily accessible for local residents, by foot, or on a bike.
Everyone in the borough must continue playing their part to protect themselves, friends, family and Dudley borough, please remember HANDS, FACE, SPACE.
Residents are also being advised to stay apart as much as possible.
If you or any member of your household is displaying symptoms – a fever or new continuous cough or a change in or loss of taste and smell – stay at home and book a test for the symptomatic person.
