As the weather starts to turn colder and with energy bills on the rise, there are places across the Dudley borough where people will receive a warm welcome this winter.
Dudley CVS has coordinated a community-led response with the borough’s voluntary and community sector to develop a network of ‘Warm Welcomes’ spaces to support local people during the cost of living crisis and increases in energy costs.
Located across the borough, ‘Warm Welcomes’ are safe and welcoming places where people and families can go to keep warm if facing challenges or struggling to heat their homes this winter. The spaces offer free hot drinks, activities, and someone on hand to lend a listening ear if needed.
