Next week is National Carers Week, an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families. It also helps people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access support.
Dudley Carers Hub is holding a week of events and activities next week, including a picnic for carers, a men’s health day for male carers, one to one wellbeing sessions, and a carers open day. Visit www.dudley.gov.uk/support-for-carers to get involved, all carers are very welcome. There are also a range of online activities being held for carers who might struggle to get out.
