Church in the Community have just started opening up the church building on Meriden Avenue, Wollaston on Thursdays (2pm – 10pm) and Saturdays (9am – 4pm) as a safe and welcoming space for the community to come in and hang out, work from, find someone to talk to, etc.
They hope that this will encourage steps in battling the loneliness epidemic, as well being available for the community whenever they need and also when they wish to connect with them.
