We at Access in Dudley have donated £2,468 to Lunch on the Run in memory of its late chair, helping to support a trainee and fund a new industrial mixer. We presented the donation to the organisation, Lunch On The Run, which provides training, work experience and support for people with learning disabilities and additional needs.
The money came from the estate of Access in Dudley’s late chair, Tina Boothroyd, who had a strong connection with Lunch on the Run and was passionate about creating opportunities for people with disabilities.
The cheque was presented by our Access in Dudley chair Karl Denning and patron Alderman Steve Waltho MBE, who also met staff and trainees during their visit.
We were honoured to present this donation to Lunch on the Run. Tina was passionate about supporting people with disabilities and helping local organisations create opportunities for those who need them most. Lunch on the Run and the people it supports were very special to Tina, and we know she would have wanted her legacy to continue making a difference here.
